UK is the UK subsidiary of the Katsuragawa Corporation
Japan, one of the reprographic industry's most renowned
innovators in digital scanning and printing systems. For
over 30 years, Katsuragawa have been on the leading edge
of reprographics technology, producing scanning and printing
solutions for industry, including architectural, engineering
and construction. Traditionally sold as (OEM) 'badged'
products by a number of leading names in the industry,
more recently these systems have been marketed directly
under the KIP brand, bringing a wealth of experience in
digital reprographics directly to users.
The
UK company was formed in 1988 to specialise in the area of
wide-format image capture, storage and retrieval solutions.
The KIP product range now covers everything from low volume
budget priced analogue copiers through to fully integrated
and networked digital scan-to-file and print systems.
The sheer breadth of KIP's hardware range and the suite of
software solutions available to support KIP digital systems,
is what really sets KIP apart from its competitors. Particularly
powerful and user friendly, KIP's software products dovetail
easily with existing CAD/EDM network systems, allowing for
easy integration and smooth upgrading or downsizing of systems
to accommodate changes in workload.
Over 85% of KIP's UK clients are using KIP products
as part of integrated digital/networked systems. The
newly introduced HDP technology provides many benefits
for users of KIP's latest generation of high definition
printers.
Unlike many suppliers in the industry, KIP's Service
Division is dedicated to wide-format systems, giving
a sharper product and technical focus. Teams of specialist
engineers and support personnel provide first class product
and technical support to a rapidly growing installed
base across the nation. Service contracts are tailored
to meet individual users' requirements.
KIP UK markets the KIP product range exclusively throughout
the United Kingdom, Eire and the Middle East through
a portfolio of dedicated distributors. In the UK, KIP
products are also available through a growing number
of resellers.
